Face biometrics

Human identification that uses face biometrics is based
on individual shape and morphometric characteristic
of the face
FRR - false reject rate
<1%
FAR - false accept rate
0,1%
Rate of verification - 3 sec
Accuracy- middle level
Method
User face is scanned by special scanning mechanism. Pattern of face (morphometric relationships - measurements, shapes, lines, points etc.) is evaluated and compared with relevant database.
There are 3 basic method of face identification:
- Face morphometrics - face geometry in 2D or 3D form
- Face thermogram - thermogram of the face is acquired by special IR optical scanning mechanism. This method is based on distribution of body temperature in the face
- Face skin surface - it is based on detailed structures and differences of face skin surface
- + combination of more methods
Usage
- Time-register/Attendance systems
- Access control systems - suitable mainly for databases with small or middle-sized number of users
- Supplementary identification method in forensic anthropology
Advantages
- no physical contact with scanning mechanism
We offer:
Morphometric/photocomparative software - high variable semi-automatic and morphometric software for all different kinds of use, primarily developed as photocomparative system for forensic analyses.
